Hello everyone! We would like to share some exciting news!
Back in 2003, we had the idea of opening a toy store. Back then we had just had our first little one and after many years and 6 additional monsters (yes, we have 7 children) we started Inner Nerd in 2018 as a web-based collectibles and comics store. We are collectors ourselves of many things (not just children) to include statues, figures, books, comics, cards, and so many toys.
Originally from South Texas (San Antonio and Edinburg), we came to Georgia after proudly serving in the Navy. Work opportunities brought us here and now we have come to call Braselton our home. We have grown fond of the charm and character Braselton offers.
Pre-COVID we have searched around trying to find a location to establish a retail store in or around Braselton, but we were unable to find a good fit.
FINALLY, we have found a location at The 1904 located in Historic Downtown Braselton which was once the Braselton Brothers Department store. This space will have other businesses offering a variety of things to include food, beer, wine, coffee, sweet treats, vinyl records, and more.
We will provide updates as to when we will be opening, but we are very eager and excited to see you all!
